Thanks for the kind words. I really did consider other options, but didn't find any. I've seen others mount the ipad right on top of the cubby hole door. That looked to me even worst. I really don't want to modify the Nismo since it is sort of a limited edition car. If Nissan gave me the option to get the Navi package in the Nismo, then I wouldn't have to deal with this. Also, the proclip is very secure. It's got double claws top and bottom of the center console. The swivl mount has three claws to hold the ipad.

I don't really know why the negative comments. I have seen so many posts about mounting portable navi with sucntion mounts on the Z's window, and replacing the current double din head with navi/DVD players. To me the suction mounts are much worst looking, and less secure. And the double din navi/DVD posts the same distraction as my ipad.
