I dont understand why everyone is so hopped up on this? being a 3 piece kit is terrible, and it has such edgy lines, it looks like it should belong on a 350z....I mean the inlet for the stillen intakes are cool, since I have stillen gen 3's and love them, but cmon you guys can do that on our stock bumpers....

I disagree...I think the the Stillen bumper looks friggin great! Very agressive without being over the top JDM-ish, urethane contruction, should be OEM-like fitment, and its functional! I DO agree however that the 3-piece design sucks - I have a terrible feeling that this will lead to problems down the road. I would have paid 3x the shipping price to avoid this. Im taking the plunge regardless.

We decided to make this a three piece construction to keep from having to ship truck freight which on average costs around 200 bucks and goes up from there if we ship to a residence or if the truck needs a liftgate because the drop off point doesn't have a loading dock or if the recipient isn't home and the truck driver needs to return for a second delivery date...basically truck freight is a major PITA so we did our best to avoid it.

That body line comes grooved and flanged and predrilled so that people can choose to blend it or leave it standard and just paint it with that body line there. If people do decide to fill it there is no concern of cracking later as the hardware and flange on the back is the support and the filler (supplied) is just there to blend that line out.

We have been working on some very detailed instructions on how to blend that line for the DIYer...it is very easy!

I can't wait to see how it turns out for you mike!

Yes, the body shop was definitely impressed with the mating provisions, and all the attention to detail in it overall.

In STILLEN's shoes I would've made the same decision. Makes it more cost effective for sure, and easier to transport. I had all sorts of hell trying to get the Amuse kit home, and I had one of the biggest SUVs with me. I think as long as you have a good, reputable body shop, you'll be fine.

Now then...
