slightly off topic - Wasn't there some discussion that you don't want the vent directly in front of the intake, because that actually hurts its ability to draw air due

slightly off topic -
Wasn't there some discussion that you don't want the vent directly in front of the intake, because that actually hurts its ability to draw air due to turbulance or whatever? It was during a discussion of cutting a vent into the bumper, but i can't recall
