I believe that is glockworks car. maybe he/she has a build thread you can look through.

one thing to note is that with the fuji bumper your factory tow hook location is no longer accessible, unless you cut the bumper

slightly off topic -
Wasn't there some discussion that you don't want the vent directly in front of the intake, because that actually hurts its ability to draw air due to turbulance or whatever?

It was during a discussion of cutting a vent into the bumper, but i can't recall

Correct. The only time a ram air effect would be of any use starts well past speeds and power our cars are capable of. If a car is sucking in gallons of air at 200mph, sure.

All exposed filters would do is lead to dirty filters.

I don't think anybody was talking about a ram air effect, just a good source of cold air. I have seen a few tests of CAI's on dyno's where the results were improved with the bumper removed.

Dirt getting on the filters however is definitely going to be a big issue, but at least I can get the filter out through the wheel well. I could even put a dust filter behind the grill, or even a rain sock over the filter like what they use on motorbikes.

Those vents are just crying out to be used. Perhaps I'll run a pipe to the brake rotors instead.

I was going to look into 3d printing ducts for brake cooling myself.

Ah, gotcha. Moving air isn't cooler, but it is better for pulling heat away. If any effort's to be made in utilizing them, brake ducts or oil coolers are the way to go for sure. That will gain more performance than a couple horsepower from intake air temps.
