Another Sticky Dash Issue

The 1/4 section where I applied when dash was cool, it would turn sticky when heated by the sun, although not as bad as day 1, and definitely better than the untreated area.

The 1/2 that’s untreated is still bad.

The weather here is cooling off. I’ve pulled the dash back in-door. Fall is finally going to bless Dallas.

It appears that the key is to let the dash absorb the protectant...

Seems that way. For the severe cases, seems like the new chemical has to mix with the melting stuff to “lock it in”.

When summer time comes again next year, I’ll do the same with the dash in my car.
