Default Dash Issue

I did a search and could not find any information on this.

I have had my 09 370 for about 2 months now. I picked it up very slightly used and absolutely love it so far. However, recently while quickly accelerating my e-brake indicator light will come on until I level out the acceleration. There is no change of feel in the car that makes me think the e-brake is in any way engaged.

Any ideas on what is causing this?

My guess is an adjustment to the cable. Any play in the handle? These brakes have an old school adjustment wheel for the e-brake. Not hard to adjust.

Where in CT are you located? Grew up in the Danbury area...

Who is your nearest dealer? Did you buy from them? I'm assuming your Z is still under warranty so you should be all set getting it checked out.

I hope no one was doing e-brake turns with your Z

By e-brake light you mean the standard red brake light correct? If so low fluid will set it off. And accelerating could slosh the fluid just below the min causing the light. Give it a check.
