I do as well... consider me in...
rcz, would you be willing to start another thread where we can share design input? perhaps you don't want / need any, but this conversation doesn't belong on this particular thread, and you are likely to get the input anyways!

Yeah, that stuff has been done, but to balance the car to 50/50 with the Z's actual weight distribution at around 55/45 or 54/46, you would need to move around 160 pounds and around 155 pounds if you really lighten in to around 3100 pounds. I wish nissan could have made the Z's transmission rest in the back like the GTR's. That would have helped.

This is a question that I don't think everybody thinks about, but does anyone have any info on the weight of aftermarket limited slip differentials (i.e. The OS Giken LSD that I want that has 28 plates, Quaife, Carbonetic etc)....?? The Z's differential is mounted on its rear axle, so it would be great if it was the same weight so that it does not add weight or offset the weight distribution....

very interested in weight reduction, here are my opinions:
-CF Front fenders, are the seibon lighter than stock? -CF racing mirrors, they dont make them for the Z? -How much weight will you increase in the front with a supercharger? :S the intercooler, piping, water pump, etc... |
