I know this is going way back, but when you had the PC680 in the stock location, did you use a custom bracket or anything to hold it in place, or could you use what was there from the stock battery?

You can't use the stock battery mounting ties unfortunately. I used an old mount that I had from my old time attack 350Z. I have been trying to find something similar to sell, but can't find anything like that. I have no idea where the one I used came from or who made it lol. If I start getting a lot of people asking for it then I suppose I can find a CNC shop in town that can make custom ones.

Hey looks great, but I was just wondering do you guys know what is the best all around battery as in light weight, performance, and daily driving. The Odyssey 680 just doesn't seem good enough for daily driving...

The PC680 works fine for daily driving. I daily drive my Z and haven't had any problems with it whatsoever. There are others on this forum with the same experience as well.

. BRIDE USA used my car to see if the JDM BRIDE rails fit on the USDM Z, which they do. Right now there have only been two sets brought to the US, one was sold, and the other I have here with me waiting to be sold . The wires connect to the seat with plugs which obviously need to be un-plugged to remove the seat. The aftermarket seat won't have the motor or heaters or stuff like that so you won't be plugging them back in to anything. You can just leave them there or completely remove them, which would be a pain in the ***. As for the Vios III and any other seat, everyone is shaped differently and has their own idea of comfort so really you just have to sit in a few different seats yourself to be positive you like the way they feel.

Started preparations for the upcoming time attack this weekend and weighed a lot more stock pieces. All of these pieces were removed in approx. 10 min. and can just as easily be put back once you are done with the track!
Privacy shade thing out of the hatch area... ![]() Some of the trunk plastics... ![]() The rest of the trunk plastics/styrofoam... ![]() Weight that was bolted to the hatch... ![]() Location of said weight... ![]() Stock lug nuts = 3 lbs. Muteki open end lugs = 1 lb. The Muteki's are not recommended for the stock wheels though.

Honestly... every pound you save on a 3000lb car on the wheels is tantamount to about 1whp. Going from stock 19's to Volk CE's on my G35 made a bigger difference in speed than all the intake mods I ever did... Just food for thought...
