1st GEAR gets this car move'n. I've got single mass flywheel and 4.30 gears and can still shift to 2nd easily. Not for sure where this 1st gear is useless $h!+ is coming from. Maybe if your a 70+ old man that has slowed in his years and can't re-act to the tach.....LOL!

Third gear ain't bad w/gears. Of coarse w/400+ crank horsies it would be better...
