We've tuned cars with similar mods and sometimes the 6MT is higher, and sometimes the 7AT is higher haha, neither trans show a consistent % over the other

 very true sir. i still enjoy being #5 on the 1/4 mile board with only 2 breather mods and a tune on street tires

Correction, Green line and redline with O2 issue, blue is fine.

I got a baseline, then talked to the shop about installing the stuff. They gave me the DRF files and I was able to get them organized on Winpep. Spent over $1k in diag, parts n labor to fix the O2 issue... Totally erased the savings I got from them doing the full exhaust install for $500...

If it were for my lower than normal numbers for the mods I had, I wouldn't have gone FI. It may have been a knee jerk reaction lol. The last straw was when my tuned numbers were 304whp. Dynojets are consistent and I wasn't making much more than a Z with a CAI & CBE.

Guess I'll never be in the 320+ NA club lol.

that sucks man.:shakes head:

honestly with me just having CAI and CBE/TP i was hoping for 320 but would have been ok with 315. then khoi came out like a doctor in the maternity ward and told me my baby made 324 i was one proud daddy........who then jumped around rubbing it in blades faces since he was tuned right before me lol

Outside air temp might also be contributing to some of the discrepancies between some of the cars in here.

316.79rwhp and 269.6rwtq
This dyno shows my gains with art pipes installed before and after.
Mods.
Fast intentions TDX 18" resonators carbon fiber mufflers
Motordyne ART pipes
Stillen Gen3 CAI
UPREV Tune

Tons more mods but not horsepower related lol.

On this dyno here in my city there is nobody making more than me as a 370z so it definitely has to do with the locations and types of dynos! Also probably hard to compare unless we all got together and had a huge dyno battle lol

I like the 1/4 mile thread too
304 rwhp 7 AT / all moter = 12.34 times
car does not make big rwhp.
Base line was 264. cobb tune in car.

and she went bang. over reved it and it lost oil preasure at 8000 rpm in 4th gear. running with uprev.

Z

not even that but you would need more power, suspension parts, drag radials, and tranny upgrade to do that. i mean i know they got cold air temps in good ole canada but that time is a bit low for 304whp. no offense of course lol

i believe he also has the 4.36 gears and radials on his car which is a MASSIVE upgrade for the 1/4. I outran an 478whp/440tq SS Camaro from a dig with 4.08's. I'd post a video but no street racing vids lol. He was pulling on me HARD at the very end but never actually caught me before the finish. Highway and he would've mutilated me by 4 or 5 car lengths but the power of shorter gears does amazing things. Especially when the 7at with 3.3 gears is faster then the 6mt 3.69 gears from factory, the 4.36 gears would be a destroyer in the 7at. I would roughly assume 20% increase In acceleration.
