nice job selectively re-using the OEM bits... looks very clean and light weight... not sure why you need the center console, but I'm sure there's a plan

thanks Travis. We decided to campaign the car in Modified RWD class which means the oem dash and complete center console must be retained per the rules. I get a kick out of the cup holder.

I would paint the safety bars Black.

you forgot to remove of the Splash Guards? Or there's a reason for them?

I was going to start another thread with a full track review. But to say the least, our 370Z race car program smashed our expectations for it's first track event, even with a fairly important adjustment that still needs to be made to the front shock travel. We ran a 1:19 lap at Roebling Road on the 3rd lap out in the morning. That car is absolutely insane in the corners, and the braking power is off the charts. I had an idiot's grin on my face for hours after I climbed out of the car. We had the fastest car at this Porsche club event, and there were plenty of heavy hitters. Many GT3's on slicks, 997TT's, etc..etc.

And still with a bone stock engine and intake. Just the test pipes and exhaust...not even a tune!! It's only get to get much faster from here.

Wow that's a pretty damn impressive start

outstanding news on the performance - congrats... looking forward to more details - pics/vid of the event, thoughts on what still needs to be worked etc... also, does the results today change any plans, eg can this car be successful without FI?

Hi Travis, thanks man!

We are considering some different options right now, with respect to forced induction vs. NA build. We are testing the car at CMP, and Road Atlanta first, before making the decision. We need to see how the 370Z does on higher speed tracks, and more variety of corners.

Here is some incar from my first outing on Sunday morning. Sorry for the sub-optimal placement of the cam. I then mounted the cam on the roof, and it proceeded to blow off at 145mph on the front straight....ops.
