Lets design a sports car that you cant drive like a sports car, woo woo! Well, you can I guess...for about 15 minutes.

BMW, Mercedes Benz etc have all made sports cars for the road that do require modifications to be able to be tracked. Just check out the other forums and you will see Nissan has done nothing wrong. If you track your car then prepare it like you should. The street is not the track.
