Redline 5W-30: 62 cST @40C Mobil 1 5W-30: 61.7 cST @40C Amsoil 5W-30: 60.3 cST@ 40C Mobil 1 0W-40: 65 cST @40C Whether the higher viscosity in cold is helpful is a bigger questions, but most UOAs seem to indicate the VQs wear less with a 0W oil in them. If I still had mine and was planning to keep it, I would have no qualms running GC or the M1 oil. I would not go back to a 5W oil though. |
