What clutch and flywheel do you have, Sounds more like a clutch issue to me, It could just be its cold fluid esp if it is a thicker fluid in

What clutch and flywheel do you have, Sounds more like a clutch issue to me, It could just be its cold fluid esp if it is a thicker fluid in the trans.
Going to first gear first in cold weather is always a good idea to line up the gears. If your pedal feels ok and is not dropping on you or changing feel normally the hydraulics are ok.
