So i got everything on and got the motor run all is well! so i thought something just told me to drop the oil pan one more time to see

So i got everything on and got the motor run all is well! so i thought something just told me to drop the oil pan one more time to see if anymore goodies showed up and i found a broken piston ring
 so i decided i am just going to pull the motor and swap it. anyone have any idea on how i remove the motor the front end is all out? i do have an engine hoist

I hope this can help a bit (I know you are not doing such replacement but it can be beneficial at some point) DIY: Engine and Transmission mounts
Search through the forum (especially on the DIY section) and you can find many removal projects, some with cool pics and details. The engine removal is just like any other car and that is.....disconnect/remove as you go along. I will post more links as I find them. I hope the link can help you since you are going to need a few extra hands/help. Are you doing it by yourself or do you have and can count on some friends?

i ended up just buying a whole another motor and just built the bottom end up with stock comp ration 11:1 forged weisco pistons forged eagle rods acl bearings and etc. i kept the same ratio because i am very satisfied the hp don't need more just wanted the car to be bullet proof i will post a video hopefully soon with the everything in. im just waiting to get my turbo manifolds welded and i will have everything back together |
