Help car not craking with load
i have absolutely no idea what is going this how the problem started
i was driving showing my friend what the car is like underboost, we just went around the block came to a stop and took off, i made to third gear and the car shut off no weird noise or jerks at all. come to a full stop try to start it and this started to happen any ideas maybe timing chain or sensor? engine has 54000 miles |
oh damn thats sounds so bad, i hope its nothing major
|
Well the motors is turning over so thats atleast a good sign. You would really have to start diagnosing, do you have a fuel pressure gauge? Its possible that the pump failed.

I think you maybe needing more than online help.
Your symptoms are starting to sound like you need to have a reputable shop take a look and see whats going on. |

so i pulled apart the intake plenum had a look at all the valves and they are all working and don't seem to be bent. i pulled out the spark plug and notice there wasn't any spark. tomorrow i will get a compression and leak down tester and see what happens

I know what it is.
You are not "craking" it hard enough. On a serious note, lack of fuel perhaps. Maybe there is no fuel getting into the engine. If the engine is turning is most likely no fuel going into or no spark being produced. I saw the video and my guess is no fuel and no spark. (I'm good at stating the obvious ahh) clogged fuel filter, burned plug wires. I saw the video, so wires, coils, fuel pump. Ahhh I remember once, when I had an Evo, the main intake hose popped off during boost and I thought for a moment that I blew something since the engine just died. Once I opened the hood I could see what it was. So the basics are check for fuel, spark, electrical and all the hoses. If nothing then I don't know what else. Now, get craking! |

If only one plug is not firing, I look first to make sure the coil was getting the proper power, then at the coil itself. If none of the plugs are firing, I'd look at the wiring from the ECM to the coils. FSM has wiring details and trouble-shooting procedures. |
So after doing a compression test and getting 0 on all 6 cylinders i decided to take the crankcase cover off. i had to drop the oil pan to get to the last to bolts and i noticed shards and pieces of what looks like oil sprayers and bigger chunkier pieces. whatever broke is most likely the problem of why i am not having compression now to figure out where these pieces came from !
