Robispec Chassis/Harness Bar

For what it's worth, the bar is VERY light. That said, IMO, seats and harnesses should be viewed as safety items, not simply weight savings. The bar is in the

Yeah probably.

Stock bar is very light.

3" diameter steel is not.

I would like to know what thickness/alloy they're using.

Same here since I can knock it out easy.

Based on this I'd just get a mild steel in cold roll since its stronger but make sure its DOM or ERW since are cars are heavy and its 3", not 2" which cages are.

yeah my cage is 1.75" .120 wall DOM.

3" .120 wall DOM would be what I'd make this bar of if I were going to do it. Gonna be heavy tho.

Well someone weighed theirs and it was 8lbs. So if 0.12 is heavier, than robispec uses thinner wall.
