He's already made up his mind. He just needs someone to agree with him. Should have posted on Facebook instead...

Excuse me, but me "asking why" was directed to the answer that
2011 Nismo#91 gave.

Excuse me, but the answer is still the same.

THOSE ROTORS ARE OVERPRICED FOR YOUR NEEDS!

This isn't a difficult concept. What is it that you are not understanding?

A rotor is a basic piece of metal. Some are heavier and dissipate heat better. Some are lighter and do not dissipate heat as well. For performance purposes, people have to compromise between those two factors.

For everyone else, IT DOES NOT MATTER.
Clearly, you have no need for those rotors. So you don't need to spend that much. If you want to spend the money, go for it. But don't expect to be congratulated on your decision.
If I were to buy these rotors it would be front and rear. I disagree with your comment that spending 150 will fit my needs. How the hell do you know what my needs are? Thanks for your specific knowledge on the DBA rotors. I happen to have them on my Jeep and love them. I just wanted some 370Z owner's thoughts. Oh, I don't, need every single decision validated. I'm just lonely and need to talk to people!

By a set of Frozen rear rotors and call it a day! If you closer I would give you a set of OEM rears.

I know....and facts have been listed, that’s why I don’t know why u need more validation....

It’s cool if you like them. I have no problem with you buying them either. They look nice. But you ask for opinion, then need people to validate the opinion while facts have been stated.

That’s why JAR said what he said...you are just looking for people to support your view, not really want to hear the entire pool of opinions and facts.

Edit: if it’s not so expensive for e US market, I assume it’s due to them being from Australia, the opinion will be different. Right now, these don’t offer any functional (objective) or aesthetic (subjective) advantage.

Validation is the word of the day. lol To those who simply answered my question and reinforced my thoughts on the DBA rotor. Thank You. Thanks to the rest of you for looking out for my wallet. I appreciate that. You just don't know...

The tags lol

They are not the cheapest nor the most expensive. They are not the best nor the worst. What made you choose them? I am just curious. Not arguing.

Edit: if you do not wish to share your thoughts, that’s ok, best of luck

Hey BTW. Do you happen to know the weight of the RB, 2 piece fronts?

I think I saw it on their website at 28 Lbs. can't find it now. (which is close to the OEM weight, no? )
