Master Brake Cylinder Replacement
Need some advice or suggestions or what ever.
The Master Brake Cylinder failed after a weekend of track days. The pedal got really long and when I took it back to the shop, they bleed the brakes and the pedal was still soft/long and then they check around the MC. Saw leakage. The shop I go to also worked on the car before the track event, and it was not that way. background: have upgrade brakes as follows: Z1 370Z / G37 (Sport) Brake Upgrade Package Stillen Front Brake Cooling Kit MOTOL 600 brake fluid Brake Pads were Hawk HPS 5.0 front / rear I think it was do to heat, have Z1 Headers / Test pipes. So just want to make it solid for track days. thanks all for your help

Buy a new one from Nissan and call it a day. I don't care for aftermarket parts because they normally do not last long and have fitment issues if they even work at all.

Where is the master cylinder leaking at. Where the brake rod goes?

Try and bench bleed the master cylinder before installing into the car. This will get the little air bubbles out.

I will have to take a look at it, since I am all thumbs when it comes to cars, that why I trust the shop I have work on it.
