Question Tein EDFC Active Pro wiring/mounting

Hey guys. I've searched high and low for tips on this but can't seem to find good DIY tutorials on the Tein EDFC...at least for the 370. Already have the motors and coilovers installed just need to get everything put in place and the wiring done.

Looking for info on some good spots to mount the motor drivers on the front and in the rear hatch area and where a good spot is to mount the signal converter and power supply filter in the cabin.

Also, which accessory power supplies to tap into for everything? Called Tein and they said that everything that needs power should each be connected to different accessory power supplies to avoid any issues. Constant power isn't an option as it will drain the battery.

I know there's a few guys on here that have done this install and one of them even made a tutorial but it's an older post and pictures don't seem to work on that thread anymore. If anyone's done this install and cares to chime in please do so. Vehicle is a 2015 Nismo.

I would take your main power off of the battery and run it through relays that are tapped to run with key on power. This way, you won't drain the battery.

I have my EDFC motors powered by the accessory power sources inside the car. My car is a G37 so there is some differences. In the front, I have to motor driver on top of the front left relay box. I have it mounted via zip ties and zip tie anchors as to not block the motor driver breather ports.

I ran power wire through the firewall and into the cabin where I tapped into a an accessory power line.

For the rear, I removed all the lining in the trunk and mounted the rear driver the same way as the front (zip ties and zip tie anchors). There is a lot of hollow space between the plastic liners and the body so this was perfect. There were many rubber grommets in the trunk so I just ran the motor lines through there to each motor. To power the motor driver, I ran a power line up along the trans tunnel hump to the accessory power source in the arm rest.

Be sure to mount your EDFC controller unit somewhere rigid because there is a G sensor in it.

Finally, get the GPS speed unit and don't even bother with the speed sensor wire. It's $75 bucks and saves a lot of time and headaches.

FlashGuy, regarding the GPS unit, does it ever lose signal? I do have the gps kit as well was just still deciding if it was a better option or not.. if the gps doesn't lose signal and is able to perform better than tapping the speed signal wire then I'd much rather not go through the hassle of doing that.

Only inside subterranean parking structures and long tunnels.

I have a '15 Nismo and here's what i did. My front motor drivers are installed behind the battery near the firewall. The rears are attached to the cross brace under the floor in the trunk. I don't remember which accessory wire I tapped into for the relay though.
