Going by previous posts on this site, I think Rusty may be on the right track about it being an axle nut. It seems to be a fairly common problem

Going by previous posts on this site, I think Rusty may be on the right track about it being an axle nut. It seems to be a fairly common problem with the same or similar symptoms to your's.
