The controls oxidize and the encoders read intermittently. I used to clean mine as mentioned in my earlier post now I just spin them a bit before they track again.

The controls oxidize and the encoders read intermittently. I used to clean mine as mentioned in my earlier post now I just spin them a bit before they track again. If we can't get a recall for a potential deadly CSC failure at highway speed we sure as hell won't get one for an intermittent volume / HVAC controls.
