Volume Knob Issue (09 Bose Model)

When I turn the volume knob, it hesitates and sometimes turns the volume up/down in the opposite direction of what I'm turning it. Does anyone else have this problem or

Does anyone else have this problem or have noticed this? I had the stereo replaced under warranty but the new one behaves the same way. Newby101 and 2E-Z like this.
