*****UPDATE*****

6 months after the order date, Forgestar has now owned up to the issues. They sent a replacement set of wheels (which I got in flat black which I think would look better with white, and without pinstripe since I wasn't happy with the pinstripe durability), and we worked out a deal for me to purchase the original wheels at a discounted price so I can get them refinished and keep whichever set I like best.

The original wheels are at the powdercoater right now getting a Metallic Bronze finish. I am 99% sure I will keep the bronze ones and sell the brand new matte blacks.

My impressions: Initial impression of the finish is 10x better than the previous set of wheels. The color is consistent and looks great. I couldn't find any blemishes in the finish. the 19x11 wheel is just massive and makes you

Here are the pictures:

Now the bad news. UPS damaged one of the wheels. This was absolutely not forgestars fault, as there were 4 layers of packaging protecting the lip on each wheel. One box had damage to the box, the second layer of cardboard, the plastic lip protector, then the shrink wrap you see in the pictures. There was about a 1 inch long gash in the aluminum, of course on the face of the wheel. I contacted forgestar with pictures shortly after, and they got the ball rolling with UPS to cover the wheel with insurance and they will be sending me a replacement shortly.

so i wanted to give a small to forgestar for finally owning up to the issues. Some may consider it too little too late, but in the end they did prove to me that they do have a quality product somewhere in there, and although it did take 6 months to get it all worked out, they did replace the wheels.

Wow. That's a horrible experience to have to go through

Unfortunately I guess the only option at the moment other than buying brand new wheels is to get them re power-coated professionally.

I don't know what else to say but F*** forgestar
