Will 255/40s rub on a lowered 9.5 +12?

well ****. just realized the tires I want don't come in the 255/40 size anyways. Now I've got to decide if I want to drop down to stock size 245/40

well ****. just realized the tires I want don't come in the 255/40 size anyways. Now I've got to decide if I want to drop down to stock size 245/40 & 275/35 or go with summer only tires. Was willing to give up some performance and switch to all seasons for the comfort and tread life. My Pilot Super Sports only lasted about 1.5 years, 12K miles.
