Tire noise from the cold weather

My 2012 does it too, and I live in San Diego; it has nothing to do with the weather unless you consider 60 degrees to be "cold".

The tires skipping have less to do with the ambient temperature than it has to do with the operating temperature of the tire.

Once the tires warm up, the rubber becomes more pliable and will form to the turn rather than just skipping across it.

OP- as others have said, it's normal tire skip. Don't worry about it.

I agree 100%. I only mentioned it because several posters mentioned cold weather as the culprit.
