The PSS perform quite well in the rain.

They seem to be as good as the Pilot Sport 2 in the rain, which I thought was pretty good. I would highly recommend never to use summer tires in snow or even cold. At 40F they become quite rigid and dangerous. I would consider the Z undrivable in the snow with PSS's. Now stick a set of Blizzaks on it...

Michelin Pilot Super Sports are the only tires I've ever had that make a torrential downpour (a common occurrence in Houston during the non summer months.....all 3 of them) feel like I'm driving on dry ground, These tires are the phucking truth.

I'm thankful that the previous owner popped on a fresh set just before I bought the car, These are easily the best tires I've ever ridden on and nothing else will go on this Z.

I am on my second set of Pilot Super Sports. Got almost 27K miles out of the first set. They do have unbelievable grip, the car corners like it is on the proverbial rails. My passengers get all wide-eyed and then comment that they didn't even hear any tire squeal while they were hanging on for dear life

What do you guys think about 255/35/19 on the front and 295/30/19 for the rear for the PSS? I have the sport/touring rims and will I need spacers or anything like that?

I have base with 18 inch wheels. I called discount tires and the guy said I need to keep the standard 225 on the front because of clearance, but If I wanted I could put the larger 285 on the back. Can that be done or should I just go with the matching set of 225 front and 245 on the back?
