honestly, Whatever fits over the brakes without poking a lot or having to run spacers. I like the avante garde's that were posted a few pages back but that was a long time ago. I want to run a fat tire in the rear for straight line traction so im thinking about just going with the Enkei RPF1. 19x9.5 +22 in the front and then 17x10 in the rear with a street slick. but if i can find a nice set of staggered 18s that fit good without spacers I would like to go that route.

every set im looking at i try and search on google for an G or Z that has akebonos to see if they clear but there isnt much.

ive been considering all lightweight enkeis, rotary forged TSW's, ssr's, and a few work emotions.

For the rear try to find a 18x10.5 or 18x11 in my opinion for a flush look with out using spacers. The offset for me... have to be lower than +20.

It isn't that hard to find rims with the spec you need in 18s. The choices diminish and the price goes up if you want 11 or 12 inch wheels for the rear. You only need an offset of about +15 in the rear!

yeah i dunno why folks are complaining about option's in 18

you have a huuuuuge amount of tire options, any size/compound you want is available

gram lights, volk, weds, advan, enkei, work emotion series, ssr GT series
tons of options, all you have to do is . . . look

Default 18's on a 370z

Not complaining about fitment or options.... I'm referring to caliper clearance. A lot of 18s out there won't clear our akebonos. Some pics in this thread do not clarify whether spacers were needed and some do. Just like the 10.5 rpf1 +38 won't clear akebonos.

Returning wheels can be a pain in the *** so it's hard to just pull the trigger without confirming caliper clearance.

My challenge is finding a wheel that won't poke in the front but still clear the caliper in an 18in. Then that wheel also needs to be offered as an 18x10.5 and around a +5 offset. I know, I know... I'm too picky lol

You need to clarify fronts and rear offsets. I run nt01 +30 square. Fronts clear fine with no spacers rears I run a 15mm spacer making them +15. Spacers are not a big deal but if you don't there are a bunch rims that fit over sport brakes. You need to decide what wheels and size you want and then do some research on offsets. Heck you can even have a set of wheels made to whatever offsets you like.

Yea I know haha all I was saying is the wheels I have liked haven't been put on our cars in the form of an 18 inch. Just posted hoping more people would post pics to help me make my decision.

Building a custom set of my liking still wouldn't guarantee caliper clearance either though lol. I'll figure it out though eventually. I'll probably purchase 1 wheel first just to test fit.

That's why I ask U what are the wheels to verify if they fit or not.... My opinion is that the problem of the wheels that you want is the offset...

Just considering all of my options right now. I posted too early lol so far I want the back to be around 18x10.5 +15. The front 18x9 +30 or so. I want my wheels to clear brakes but not poke too much. Just flush. Sorry for all the confusion. I've found a few wheels that I'm eying and I'll keep searching to see if I can find any akebono G's or Z's that can confirm fitment.

The Wedsport TC105n will clear the akebonos front and rear without spacers. My front offset is +22 which is pretty aggressive so I run spacers in the rear to even out the fitment. They also offer front in +15 or +12 I don't remember.

You shouldn't have problems with 295 rear

Great! But I dont know what profile. If use the 295/35 or 295/30 to match the 285/35 that I use on front. I dont want hace problems with the damn tracktion control

295/35. The 5 percent difference in aspect ratio between the 295 and 285 won't be that much different. If you go 295/30 in the rear your front tire setup might look more aggressive than the rear. As far as traction control goes. You're not in the range of having issues there. Please post pics when you get the new setup on as well.

What size tire are you running up front right now? 285/35 is pretty aggressive for the front!! I think dan was rubbing with 275/40 up front when he had his rpf1's but they poked a good bit.
