Had the wheel put on today. No charge covered under warranty. They told me it was $1000 for that one wheel! Thank god.

I discovered I have exactly the same problem..and I bought mine new and always used ordinary car soap on it.. I am seeing the dealer tomorrow... I am a bit nervous in that another poster said Nissan blamed him for using harsh cleaners.. and he denies that as to I.. we shall see!!

Mine looked exactly like this and i brought it to the dealer today.. he looked at all the wheels and none other was like this..which i realize was a good sign that I had not used harsh abrasives.. and on the spot he agreed to replace the bad one

ur lucky your wheels didnt have curb marks because i can see them using that as an excuse. Either-way, great job.

Also incase others arent as lucky, if your wheels simply show paint/cosmetic damage, a wheel shop usually charges $50-$100 per wheel to refinish them like new... so a new wheel isnt needed unless its damaged structure wise.

glad Nissan covered it. I had a tear on my door panel on the very top and i know it was caused by the window tint guy but played stupid when i went to nissan and they covered it under warranty as defect....BEST PART, I kept the $450 the shop issued me to cover damage
