I don't normally powdercoat wheels, but....

I found this was the best way to do it. Just clean the wheels real well and dry. Then remove the letter, and use a razor blade to position the letter on as perfect as you can and press it on with your fingers. Just lightly stick the letter at the furthest edge of the blade so you can easily remove it from the blade when you stick it on. If the letter is not on right, you can remove it and re-apply. The razor blade works great for this as you can use the blade to carefully lift up the edge and remove.

Thanks TJ. I was using my exacto knife to do just what you are describing about the razor blade on the first wheel. I'll try that without using any water on the next wheel and see how it works. I just had a hard time on the first wheel getting the vinyl exactly where I wanted it. The wheel being slightly wet helped me better move it just where I wanted it.

Here are my Nismo wheels with Mike's lettering. My wheels aren't very clean, but you can see what the vinyl lettering does for them.
