rear fitment is never an issue, the Z34 can fit anything back there
even a 9.5 +15 in back shouldn't pose a problem

Well, it has time to purchase some new tires for the first time since I bought the original set.

I would like to go a little bit wider in the rear, while staying with in the proper Circumference percentage of the front to the rear, so as not to freak out the computer.

Here is my current set up on stock suspension.

20x9 +32 Front 245-35-20
20x10.5 +25 Rear 285-30-20

Question 1. What size should I go to in the rear if I were to keep the same size in front? 295-30-2? or go up to 305?

Question 2. What combination would work best, if I were to go wider in the front as well?

Thank you for the help.

Use this tool to easily compare tire sizes.

Thank you.

I am aware of tire calculators and have used them many times.

They are very helpful when trying to decide on rim offsets and clearances. I am not sure if they are so good on telling me if the front/rear tire combo that will not freak out our computer. I believe the ratios between the front tire and rear tire circumferences has to be within a certain percentage. So I just want to make sure that I do not exceed that prior to buying a set.

Thanks again.

If you bumped up front and rear by 20mm to 265/35 and 305/30 you’ll have the same .4% difference in circumference as before, which is less than 1% so you would be fine. And with your wheel offsets I suspect these bigger tire sizes won’t be an issue

Ok. Thank you.

So, Please correct me if I am wrong, but if I wanted to keep my current fronts, I could go to 295 in the rear. It is 0.8% difference in circumference which is still under 1%.

Right?

Right?
No more than 3% difference.

anyone have any pictures/feedback of 19x9.5 +38 19x10.5 +30? Looking at buying some used 57 Transcends.

Tires that would be mounted are 285/35 and 255/35

Those offsets are a little weak but you could get around that with spacers. 9.5F +22, 10.5R +22 is a good “safe” setup.
