I am running the H&R springs and I dont imagine that I will want to lower the car anymore. Although I wish it was lower for appearance, but the chassis on the car is very low to the ground relative to body height, more so I believe that my 350z was... because my 350z "looked" lower to the ground but I didnt seem to have as many issues with actually contacting things on the ground as I do in this car while it appears higher.

thanks for the reply BTW. I should probably do a bunch of measuring off my current setup and then I can come up with the numbers.

Have read just about every post in wheels/tires but found no definitive answer.
How do 275/35-19s fit on the stock rays sport package fronts. With no drop or spacers. It seems that it's ok on the nismo rays but I'm concerned about the only 9" width and the +47 offset. Will the bulge from the only 9" wide rim in combination with the +47 cause rubbing on the inner fenders or suspension with steering at full lock?
Only reason I,m thinking about 275/35 is it is closest to stock height and plan to squeeze 305/30 on the stock 10" wide rears.

Are you talking about running a 275/35 on the stock 19x9 front sport wheel?

Yes... it WILL fit. I'm not sure how well it's going to work because like you said, the tire is going to mushroom over. The width of the 275 is a little over 10.8 inches wide.

It really might rub the inner area at full lock.

Are you opposed to running a small spacer? Maybe 15mm just in case?

I'm kinda stuck right now just picked up the car and dropped 5k on sounds 2k on exhaust, intake and now I need new rubber. Trying to avoid spacers on the front since it will sorta force me to put spacers on the rear and I really haven't decided on any wheels yet.
I guess I can go with 265s or 255s to avoid any problems for now. Would be nice to know if someone has ever tried 275s on the stock sport front rays.

It's not a really popular thing to do because the front rim is so small and has a high offset.

Why don't you just wait and get the right size wheels and tires...?

Having those big tires on a car that isn't lowered might look funny.

just bought a set of used wheels, 19*10.5 +7 fr (245 tyres) and 19*11.5 +17 r (255 tyres) will they fit nicely? do I need to do negative camber? I'm planning to drop my car on coilover.

OMG...that's some skinny tires. Are you going for hellaflush? Don't ever hit the gas or you will go sliding all over and maybe even spin out. A lot of people run 265 front and 305 rear. With wheels that wide even a 305 will be a bit stretched in the rear.

Default Thoughts on Tires...

Hi everyone – I am sure the question has been answered before but one more time:

I have a 2010 370z (FangLady Z) Touring Coupe with the Sport package RAYS - again that’s:
19 x 9J (front)
19 x 10J (rear)

I want to keep everything stock, but would like some beefier tires. I don’t want it to look weird and I really like the squared look. BTW -the factory tires are junk – piss poor grip. I had to vent!

I am going to go with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

Thoughts gentlemen? I appreciate the advice!

I got a set of the Advan grade Rims off a member here that are
20x10 +20. All the rims are the same size.

The tire shop I am at refuses to put tires on my rims because he claims that they are not going to work. As in I'll be rubbing badly when I am am full lock. Also saying that I will have the rims poking out a lot. In the front.

Planning on going 275/30/20 in the front at stock height. Will I be fine? He said that if I insisted he will do it but i won't get any money back if it doesn't work.

Thanks in advance.

275/30/20 will fit. I had that on for 2 weeks before I went with 285.

I can full lock with 285 and no rub.

I willing be selling my 275/30/20 soon.

I was thinking of running a square setup. 18x10.5 +22 all around. would it fit? and what tires size should I be running? I'm currently not lowered but looking to throw on some eibachs or swifts in the near future. also what's our center bore size?
