 Another thing to keep in mind is some shops are just giving you labor rates they pull off a chart for a particular job; so that's how much it costs. Other shops may give you an hourly rate and an estimate for the labor but they will charge the actual amount of time it took them regardless of their quote. Beware of dishonest shops that may not tell you if the labor was less than quoted.
