Yeah, because some random dude puts a video online, must be true...

Want to know the main reason why it's not a scam?
Go to your local gas station, put air in your hand... Wet ain't it? Because when you compress air, the water vapor in the water condenses, and you're pumping water in your tire. Might not be much, but when water evaporates and expands, it expands many, many times over, causing the PSI to increase.
IF you have your own compressor and air driers like we do at work, you'll get mainly the same effect.

But yeah, this random dude on the Internet must be true.

I very much like what fuckhead says too...
That a Nitrogen molecule is only 2% larger than an oxygen molecule and that they're basically twins...
And then states an air filled tire loses 1PSI every 15 weeks, and a nitrogen tire loses 1 PSI every 24 weeks... Hey fuckhead... That 2% obviously makes a difference more than 2% in air loss, right?

Well...........I have 78% nitrogen in my tires with no problems. When I bought my first camper, first motorhome. Nitrogen WAS the big thing. Now, it's not. The only good thing about nitrogen, is that it's dry.

Air from your local gas station. Bet they don't have a dryer/moisture separator.

DEpointfive0..............who pissed you off?

I put regular air on the driver side and nitrogen on the passenger side. Left turns felt way better than turning right. Took more left turns because of it but it took me a long time to get where I wanted so I'm back to all regular air. I think they don't work.

Ummm...........yeah. I'll stick with 78% nitrogen. At least I don't have to pay someone every time I need to play with my tire pressures. For now anyway, air is still relatively free.....LOL (except in Canada).

By the way, interesting tidbit: FI rules state that the tires can be filled with either regular air or nitrogen. If nitrogen is considered better, why even give the choice?

My Z came with nitrogen in the tires. The tires needed almost no air added for two years, even with large ambient temperature swings. It makes a difference. I didn't pay for it, though.

There's not that much difference between dry air and dry Nitrogen. Most N2 is very dry; shop air can be wet. If you don't have a source for dry air, N2 is the way to go. If you have dry air available, N2 is a waste of money. Differences in leak-down rates are inconsequential, IMNSHO, but I don't mind giving my tires a shot of air every 1-3 months - it's a good time to inspect the tires and wheels. YMMV

I posted this video in an RV forum that I'm on too. Think about 90% of them use 78% nitrogen. Nitrogen is a big selling point with the rv dealers. When I bought my first camper, then my first motorhome. Both of them had a sticker on them saying that they had nitrogen in the tires. Dealers was charging between $3 to $10 a tire for nitrogen. Some with free top-offs. Most of the rv forum thinks it's a scam too. Think about these people. They have a lot of tires on their rv's. Class A's and large Class C's can have 6, 8, 10 tires, sizes around 275/80-22.5. These people pay attention to their tires more then most people here because of the cost of the tires. 6 Michelin tires for my motorhome is $4,100. Since I've owned it. I put air in to the tires once. That's when I first got it in 2014. Haven't needed to put air in since. My air pressures are 115 front and 95 rear. Load range H. IMO....nitrogen is for the racecar driver who can tell the difference in 1 turn of adjustment, not the avg joe driving on the street. If you want to use it. Knock your socks off. I could use that money on something else.
