If you get a tune from me on ecutek, I can provide launch control with an adjustable 2 step rev limiter even if you have an automatic transmission. Ecutek’s custom programming language allows tuners to develop any features they need, uprev doesn’t offer anything comparable.

Thanks, but I had the car dyno tuned with Ecutek over a year ago at a local shop. Any way to leave their tuning and add the two-step?

Yes, it can be added to any tune.

Email me some logs and a description of your mods to calibrations@infiniticare.com.

Once I’ve reviewed the data and I find it to be acceptable, I can add the supplemental code assuming there is space and the existing tune is editable. Please email me for additional details.

I haven't been tuned yet/flashed the ECU but have the bluetooth dongle. Can I still use it to view my cars CEL codes?

Yes. If you want full racerom functionality to see all of the data from the ecu, I can send you a free base tune. I always recommend logging the ecu before tuning anything to establish a baseline for comparisons reasons.

Thank you for the offer but I don't have the license yet either. That's coming soon. Was just curious since a CEL came on, assuming its the 02 sensors.

I can add the license remotely, no waiting required

How do you not mess up the AT?

They seem to hold up fine, haven’t heard of any failures yet. The stock torque converter has a relatively low stall speed so the launch RPM is limited. But those with a high stall converter can launch at much higher RPM.

What RPM (range) are you setting the launches at?

I don’t own an auto myself but those that do tell me that with the stock converter 1500 RPM works well. The 2 step for launch RPM is fully adjustable using the cruise control buttons. During the launch you hold the gas pedal all the way down and the first rev limiter holds the rpm at the desired level. As soon as the brake pedal is released the first rev limiter is also released, timing and fuel are adjusted, and the car launches - it’s kinda neat.

I've got FI TP and CBE on my AT. It sounds like the CBE until 2400 rpm then it's the pipes. Can a EcuTek tune smooth out the flip flop of sounds (CBE > Pipes then it shifts and sounds like CBE again because of rpm dropping) or is that just to be expected when you have pipes?

Depending on what the measured load is, timing, and the fuel targets/actuals, I should be able to do something for you. Give me a call and I can work with you to resolve this. I would end up working out a calibration that suites your needs.
