You could very well be correct, i never measured the actual displacement of the tank, I was assuming the 370z tank was larger because it is SEVERAL inches deeper. However, since I have not fully removed the 370z tank from the car to compare nor looked up the displacement, I was making an assumption.
Since owning my 370z, I already thought it had a larger tank, because I never had to pump so much fuel into my 350z. So when I saw all the added tank depth, I didnt think anything of it. Now I am considering if the level gauge is calibrated very differently between the two cars... perhaps the 350z still has a bit more fuel left in it at the lower gauge levels than a 370z... this could explain my misinterpretation and also why you felt you could push it lower in a 350z with no problems. :who knows:
