TORONTO, Ontario, Canada (Dec. 30, 2013) - Tower Motorsports and drivers John Farano and David Empringham will team up with Doran Racing to run the TOWER EVENTS Nissan 370Z for the full season in the Grand Sport (GS) class of the 2014 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge. Farano and Empringham co-drove to the Continental Tire Challenge GS drivers’ championship in 2012. -

This is the second Doran Z. There are 5 total Z's listed in the car numbers issued for the season. 2 for Doran (#14 and #41), 1 for Skullcandy/CA Sport (#30), and 2 for Tim Bell Racing (#21 and #28). I have a feeling we'll see a Z on the podium more than once this season.

Not dogging the skills of BJ and Brad but having T. Bell/D. Cameron and Empringham/Farano also behind the wheel of Z's could make this the year of the Z. Atleast that's what I'm hoping.
