I run redline in mine. Just make sure you get the right kind of fluid as it's NOT "power steering" fluid.

Redline fluid. Fill the resevior to the cold line. When the fluid gets hot, it expands. Making a mess as it comes out of the cap. Zip tie a rag around the cap to keep the mess to a min.

I don't understand this jargon as to why you can't change the PS cooler, but if it's like a 100% stock class, just get yourself a G37/GTR PS cooler, it's a BIT longer and looks factory

The rules for his class don't allow the addition or change to any fluid coolers whatsoever. Is it a BS rule? Absolutely.

Doing what you suggest would be cheating and I applaud the OP for not wanting to cheat. Also with the price of used Z34's falling it should be expected that there will be more showing up at national level events and therefore more people that can actually spot the difference between the stock cooler and others.

Meh, that's horseshit to me. If he can change the fluids to whatever he wants, cooling it should be OK too.
I'd take the mod to the grave if I had to.

I'll applaud the OP if he decides to cheat. He put an OEM part on, just a more expensive one, lol

Redline D6 ATF is what you want to use.

Red Line Synthetic Oil - Automatic Transmission Fluids - D6 ATF

If you're not cheating you're not trying. If you get caught you aren't trying hard enough.
