I need to figure how to launch. Launching at 2500 I'm getting lots of wheel spin. Granted it's my first time on a track the best I could muster is

I need to figure how to launch. Launching at 2500 I'm getting lots of wheel spin. Granted it's my first time on a track the best I could muster is a 9.1 in the 1/8 whereas my buddy with the same mods on his Nismo is 8.9 that same night and his record 8.6.
In my defense I'm running stock tires, I don't heat them up, and according to my friends running that night, the track wasn't prepped well and I wouldn't know any better since it was my first time at a track. .....but I'm still shitty at launching. I guess I'm afraid to break something on my DD lol.
