Thought I posted this in here:

2010 370Z base m6:

At the time of this run I just had Stillen Gen3's, Test Pipes and Invidia exhaust. Full weight (with my fat *** 230lb driving). Stock advans at 35psi and all that jazz. I think this was actually 1-2 years ago though.

60' - 2.106
330 - 5.791
1/8 - 8.761
MPH - 84.68
1000- 11.257
1/4 - 13.381
MPH - 107.00

Not special. I personally think I was driving really slow that day. Car was breaking loose on the 1-2 shift so I had to baby it a bit. This was back when the car made 280whp before getting tuned (Shifting at 7500rpms). Eventually I will get back out there. Who knows.

Miss my Z... Moved on and love new car but happy to see my 6 speeds time holding strong! :happydance:

On street tires? You don't. Just make sure you avoid the water puddle for those that have Drag Radials in which case they DO drive through the puddle and they DO burnout. Burning out does nothing on street tires except waste tire.

Now if you ARE on drag radials pull the ABS fuse or else there is not really a way to burn out. And your going to have to find a fix for wheel hop because there seems to be alot of that on a stock Z. Maybe swap the Diff bushing for a stiffer or solid one.

I can do burn outs with my z and never pulled the abs fuse. I just hit the water puddle and drop the hammer and they light up lol I know it doesn't do anything for street tires but I had to try it once or twice to see. I will admit though my best 1/4 time (13.01) was after I did a but out before the run.

Hmm yea I was able to do a burnout and move forward but I was never able to do a standing burnout where I would drop the clutch and slam on the brakes and gas at the same time and burnout, the ABS always limited my throttle and toned it down after like a second. Maybe its different for 7AT

I don't use brakes on my. Just spin em then as it moves forward a bit I use a little throttle control to slow the spin and let it roll.

The one place I go to the burnout puts are actually uphill so u can smoke em lol

I still think wheel hop will get ya but if your trying it regardless yea i would usually put it at ~4k RPM and drop it or slip it at a pretty fast rate. Then floor it.

TerribleONE 02-12-2013 12:10 AM

2nd gear burnout will eliminate the wheel hop if you are 6MT... at least on my TT car

If your hitting boost at whatever RPM you drop the clutch at then that's probably why :( wish I was TT.

Are you on stock clutch?

I figured you would be hard pressed to get the tires going good enough in second without boost.. just wanted to throw it out there. No I am running a RSP clutch from Specialty Z and I LOVE it. Barely (if any) stiffer pedal feel over stock and the engagement is amazing

Makes sense. I think I'll stick to first for now maybe if I get some DR's I'll drive through the water pit and actually attempt to burnout.

Thanks! I was surprised at how high it was myself. And yes sir all stock. All I have done are the Volks which are on the stock tires and the clutch helper spring. Gotta say I really like the new feel to it. Besides that I'll be on Swift Springs hopefully by this weekend. And forsure! Me and a buddy of mine in an SL55 AMG usually go on Fridays for the Test and Tune nights at around 9pm then stay till they close. Would be nice to have some friendly competition! :happydance:

TerribleONE 02-13-2013 12:00 AM

any idea if the op is still updating this list?

Jbwrecked 02-13-2013 12:02 AM

I dont think so :( I haven't pm'd him yet just updated on this thread but I posted an older slip a couple weeks ago and no update.

b1adesofcha0s 02-13-2013 07:55 AM

He's probably just busy. Looks like he last updated it like 2 months ago. He does come in from time to time.

b1adesofcha0s 02-13-2013 07:56 AM

I just got a new set of PSS and the tracks here open up in early March. Hoping I can finallly beat my stock time :icon17:

I didn't post these sooner because i thought it was weird the track tore them in half. Now i've seen others post their slips, and i found mine the other day so here goes.

09 Touring w/sport 7AT, mods at the time were.

Gen 3 intake, berk HFC, stillen CBE, 24 oil cooler, hotchkis sways, 20" volks, toyo proxes-255/30/20 & 305/25/20.

http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/...ps54fcbfef.jpg

Temps were in the 40's that night, almost a full tank of 93. No burn out drove around the water, full interior and crappy driver..me.:p

Lol can't tell you how many I have lying around. I usually throw em on the passenger side visor but once I get a passenger with me and they flip em down its like Niagara Falls

Cool deal, i have some swifts i need to get installed. I'm just chicken the the exhaust will hit when paired with the springs and low profile tires. I'm running 255/35/19 & 295/30/19. Right now i've only got 3 & 1/2" clearance from the ground to my lowest point which is the mufflers.
