Im getting the Torque converter redone this winter by Pro Torque, 3500 stall VS 1900 i have now. With a GTM VB, and a fully built 7 AT. ( Not cheap from GTM ).

It's the truth! Currently, my car hasn't gone faster than 13.2 @ 107mph.

Went to the track last night
12.92 @ 108.7
52 degress for temp and the track temp was 61 degress.
No traction at all best 60 ft 2.235. I spun all the way down the track.
There was no glue on the track at all.
very few cars made it into the 12's

That sucks man!... at least you still have that slip that says 12.42 though

Z check your tune, do you datalog? I have seen a few Z's get way off from the target afr... mine became pig rich, was shooting insane flames, and was down about 15whp from a few months prior... re-tuned and got it right back.

Yes i put in the same fuel curve as the 12.42 run. I loaded it before i drove to the track.
the car did run rich as it was running 12.7 A/F in 4th gear. It usually runs at 13.2.
It would not have helped as i spun all the way down the track.

I have not been to the track latley as my car started making some terrible grinding sounds the lst few weeks between 750 and 3000 rpm.
I thought that i blew a rod bearing or main bearing.
I had to remove some of the mods and yesterday i took it in to the dealer expecting the worst.
The TC converter was on ok, but they found a crack in my flywheel.
They called today and have covered it under warenty and have ordered me a new one.
This why i have not started to install the stage 2 GTM.

'grats on the free flywheel! That big ole thing shouldn't have cracked though even with all the hard launches. Just curious, what mods did you leave on the car?
