I've got wheels ordered and then my goal will be to get as much weight out of the car as I can. When that's all done we add power.

So, anyone having issues with ABS freaking out? Instead of going ice mode like most cars seem to do when you get on the brakes too aggressively, mine decides to throw ABS codes and warning lights and shuts it off, allowing the wheels to lock up. Then, as you the car starts rolling again off the brakes, the lights go out and ABS is active, again. The codes it throws is C1115 (Wheel speed sensor input fault) with is really generic and just tells me that the ABS module just doesn't see wheel speed signals it expects to see and shuts ABS off. I honestly think it's something in the software and there's nothing physically wrong with the car. I've inspected my speed sensors to make sure they weren't dirty or had a lot of metal attached to them, which they don't. I'm wondering if my Z1 diff cover has anything to do with it, but the sensors seem to have a good air gap from the reluctor wheels, and also I think I had the same issue while I had the stock cover on, as well, but I could be wrong.

ABS was freaking out going into corners and all my dash lights lit up for a second or so. They'd then turn off, and also set traction control back on (traction control went from turned off, to default). I then turned TC back off coming out of the corner and the same happened twice more. On the third corner, the whole car shut off and wouldn't start back up again. I've been thinking it's battery or alternator related and haven't tested yet, but seeing this thread, I'm wondering if it could've been related to confusing the ABS.

I'm almost starting to think it actually may be related to my Z1 diff cover. I thought it did it with the stock cover, but talking to one of my friends who co-drove with me the first day it happened, I already had my new diff and cover installed. So, now I'm wondering if the air gap on the rear sensors is too big. It's hard to get a dial indicator in there to see exactly what it is, but my eyeballs estimate it's somewhere between 1-1.5 mm on both of them. I cannot find any specs for the air gap, but think it should be less than 1 mm. Is anyone able to check the gap on their rear sensor with a stock diff cover?
