I had the same thing happen to us in Alabama

And it was the only part of the country we felt unsafe

At gas station , dude comes up and asks whats in the trailer and truck ?

Im like nothing as we rented the U haul only to pick up a new trailer

As we are in the gas station , I see the guy walk to the car and grab something , start walking fast towards us and in walks a cop , dude sees the cop and goes back to his car and takes off.

I may re-think getting an additional fuel tank for my truck. The only worry I had was making sure I could find a fuel station when I got low. I just use my truck as a truck and like having the long bed to haul stuff locally.
