Enough pads for small lapping day?

Personally, I don't like the one on the bottom right. Even though there is still some material left, the grooves seem really close to the backing plate. I've seen the

Personally, I don't like the one on the bottom right. Even though there is still some material left, the grooves seem really close to the backing plate. I've seen the pads become separated from the plate because the grooves act like a parting line and just let go.

In all honesty, you can probably get away with your session(s), but pads are cheap and having no brakes becomes REALLY expensive, if not dangerous to you and your fellow track mates.
