Optimal wheel and tire size?

AIWakRa...thoughts/impressions of the Nexen SUR4G? I am strongly considering this same size over the RE71.

They were fantastic, great grip for the price, and very consistent, they don't lose grip after 2-3 hotlaps like the re71r. Also, they are predictable and easy to control, I like them a lot, as I went for them mainly for the size and stock availability (didn't find rs4 in stock) not price or performance, as any lower sidewall will mean more gear shifts

I have them in 275/40R18. They were 500 bucks cheaper than other 200tw tires for some reason in that size specifically.

Raw grip is competitive in autoX and they lasted all my track sessions without issues.

They are happy with some slip and didn't seem to lose much time due to it, but also have a little less feedback on when the tires let loose than RE71Rs. Those two traits are probably connected.

I'm sticking with them for as long as that pricing remains true.
