Anyone going to Nismo Fiesta?

Pintsize725 04-13-2016 12:58 PM

^Everyone really should. As most people wonder when the get togethers are, you'd think they'd all be signed up. :p

Really wish I could be out there driving the Twisted Sisters again.

I've been busy building a room addition but I'm making time for this... I'll be there.

roplusbee 04-13-2016 09:23 PM

My car and I will be at the UPREV booth. Hopefully, I can get some twisties time!

Ridden them on my Bandit 1200 and in my Miata. I don't think I'll be finished moving into my new house when the Fiesta happens. Sure would like the drive.

roplusbee 04-14-2016 08:29 PM

I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully I get a chance to take the NISMO 350Z out for a light cruise on it. We are buttoning up my Greddy Kit from the NISMO 370Z now. Gonna be boosted again soon! Woohoo!

I really need to get my car tuned... What shop do you use to do your tuning?

IIRC, he had Uprev in Austin do the tuning. Mike and Omar are both good guys - knowledgeable and nice.

roplusbee 04-15-2016 10:10 AM

UPREV is the one! I actually work there now as well. I don't do anything with tuning, but I am their IT Support.

Pintsize725 06-20-2016 09:54 PM

JARblue 06-21-2016 07:46 AM

JARblue 06-21-2016 08:45 AM

If their brunch is yummy I'm good with that.

roplusbee 06-21-2016 01:45 PM

Dang! I just saw this. Anything going on this weekend? I may be moving, but I can take a break to come check out the peeps! My Z is still down right now as well.........

JARblue 08-18-2016 09:25 PM

I've got nearly a full bottle of Motul RBF600 left in my power bleeder if anyone needs a brake fluid flush this weekend. I won't keep it past Sunday.

Come DIY your own brakes with my fluid and equipment for free or I'll be happy to take the lead and do the work for a beer or two. Feel free PM or text me any time :tiphat:

Nooooo! Wish I saw this earlier. :hello:

JARblue 08-21-2016 12:44 PM

Already did one yesterday, and it's probably a little short to do another brake flush with the remaining fluid. But there's plenty for a clutch flush. I have about 1/2 bottle left if you want it. I wouldn't keep it more than a week though - I was just going to recycle it with the old fluid.

I probably wouldn't able to make it up there till September. Lone Star Le Mans!
But thanks!

Ok Austin Z people. My wife and I were out at Cars & Coffee this past Sunday and had a great time. Got to meet and talk with NachoZ as well. With Spring just around the corner, I think it would be great if we were able to get Acquainted once again. Auston got this started back in 2011. So lets see if we can get this rolling again. Look forward to hearing and meeting you guys and gals in the near future.

I thought it was supposed to rain all last weekend, but the weather was actually nice. Is it still out at the Oasis?

It is still out at the Oasis. It is getting bigger each and every time that we have gone. We left the house at around 8:20am and had to park in the garage. When we left to head back to Rudy's around 11:20am both side of the road had people parked to 620 almost give or take a few tenths. Got to see and talk to a few people that I haven't seen in a couple of years.

Love the Avatar. How's motherhood treating you?

God-Speed 03-10-2017 04:35 PM

Cars and Coffee Austin, presented by Elite Motorsports and held at The OASIS on Lake Travis will be supporting The Center for Child Protection this month. Each March the Center for Child Protection has their annual RIDE DRIVE GIVE fundraiser. This year we have the honor of helping them out!! This month, not only do you have the opportunity to win Car of the Month, The Autozone wash bucket, a gift card to The OASIS, and coffee from Johnny Beans, but if you are the lucky winner of our drawing, you will also win a HOT LAP at COTA during the Ride Drive Give event March 30! Thats a $250 value in itself!!!
KEEP READING AS CHANGES TO OUR SHOW MENTIONED BELOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As we know the February show was HUGE!! So big in fact we have to make some changes. Starting with our March 2017 show the following will apply:
*The show times will now be from 8AM until 12PM. Drawing will be held at 11:45AM
*Every car coming to the show will pay/purchase/donate a $5 entry fee to park in the lower two lots, the dirt lot, and the "lollipop road" parking area . The fee, all 100% goes DIRECTLY to the charity of our choice that we are hosting that month AND gets you a raffle ticket for a chance to win the monthly drawing. CASH ONLY PLEASE
*No cars will be allowed to park in the parking garage until the lower two lots, dirt lot, and lollipop road are filled.
*Only cars that enter from RR 620 to Comanche Trail will be allowed to enter the lot. If you drive up from Volente or the lake area and try to turn left to enter the lot, you will be directed to continue up to 620 and get in line behind everyone else. This is necessary to free up traffic along the adjoining road ways.

Thank you in advance for supporting the show, your understanding, and for driving safely!! Looking forward to the March 12th show!!

Wanted to give you all some heads up to those of you who may be going. There is a chance of rain through Sunday morning. Don't know if my wife and I will be attending this month but wanted you guys to know about the changes.

We'll be getting the GoPro package with it. Really hope I can actually drive it, worried I'll be too short to be able to see.

Pint don't worry about your height. Unless your 3'10" you will be just fine.

It's that time once again. Cars and Coffee at the Oasis Sunday April 9th. Did not go last month so really don't know how the changes worked out, so FYI to those who will be going.

Well gang, the wife and I did not make it out to Cars & Coffee this time. From what I can tell it was a good turn out. Maybe some of us can meet up and try to make it out next month May 7th.

jsutton2 04-11-2017 04:22 PM

I was there, and it was packed but it was a sad turnout for 370z's... I was the only one there... crazy that there are not more 370's in Austin. About 5-6 350's showed up.
