I was there but had my family with me from Houston so we spent more time inside Oasis than outside. I got to see your car up close, looks great!

Hello all,
So I recently picked up a 370 and I live up in North Austin / Pflugerville.

I was at C&C this last weekend and I saw a few Z's on the roof, was wondering if someone here owned the MB with the EVO-R front lip?

What color did you get? I'm still wondering who bought mine.

I picked up a 2009 Monterey Blue 6MT Touring with Sport and Navi.

Kind of wishing I hadn't gotten the Navi after reading all the audio threads haha.

Sharing some pics from C&C.

We need more 370z's!

Martin Bros Customs reveal their custom pickup. Velocity was there covering it, but not sure if/when it will be on any show.

This was a cool looking Puma GT 1600. Not bad for a Brazilian car manufacturer. :tiphat:

Never heard of this bike before... but I loved how the exhaust came out the front of BOTH the front AND the rear cylinders.

Ran into forum member and former Nismo owner, RWilliams today

MaQG37 10-16-2015 09:28 PM

Hey guys, moving to the Austin area pretty soon. You have room for a bloated Nissan with 4 doors?

Pintsize725 12-06-2015 06:37 PM

What have you kids been up to?

enrique_370 12-09-2015 08:34 AM

Just getting parts placed on the car should get it back today and see how everything feels. FI 12 inch res exhaust poly motor and trans mounts. I will give feedback in a few days on the mounts hope there is not to much shaking going on :)

Been enjoying the new Nismo and redoing the garage. I have a picture that I know you will want. It is one of my best shots that I got of Mark Webber during the WEC Race back in September. I have about 10 pictures that I will be getting blown up for the garage.

Nice! Let me know what you think of the exhaust. I liked my 12" res. Now you just need headers~

Pint, JarBLUE, Enrique, you fine folks want to get food sometime on a Sat/Sun?

Just saw this. If I can wake up early sunday could work. As for the headers I think I am going turbo with my car. Since I decided to keep it I might go all out on this bad boy.

With all the items on the car for a little bit here are my thoughts. On the following items.

-Clutch Helper spring- Softens the clutch pedal at first I was worried as I felt the dead pedal as I have read before but now it prob adjusted or I have. I now can feel when the transmission grabs and it is what the car should have came with. raiting 9/10

- z1 poly Trans/Mounts- At first just like the CHS there seemed to be a good amount of vibration maybe it was the parts getting settled in or myself needed to be adjusted to it. The car does grab a lot better. No longer shifting from 6th to 4th is a guessing game and hope it can hit right. The shifter is precise and feels great now. I can feel a little more vibration on deceleration when the car gets a little warm (200 degrees or so) and when I am around 2500 rmp. trans raiting 10/10 love this mod. Engine 8/10.

Exhaust/Z1 post maf tubes- I do love the sound of this combo but I am starting to see worse mpgs than before prob need a tune now. But it does burble a bit. Raiting 9/10

The mod bug has me bad now :stirthepot: . Looking into getting either AAM turbo or Fast intentions. Need to do more research on the difference on the two and where to get everything done :)

I do like the sound of the EFR turbos. Though internal waste gate is a little bummer. Since we have a ton of traffic here. So faster spooling interests a bit. Though it would prob hook up with the exhaust a lot easier.

roplusbee 12-23-2015 06:38 PM

I would steer clear of AAM until they work out some minor fitment issues. I also know of a customer local to TX that had issues with the internal wastegates. I concur with F.I. all the way.

By the way, I am down to assist with wrench turning if anyone is going to do so this weekend.

enrique_370 01-01-2016 10:39 PM

130 people going that should be interesting.

roplusbee 01-02-2016 06:56 PM

I signed up, but I doubt I will be attending the dinner.

darkphantom 01-11-2016 02:54 PM

Anyone doing anything tomorrow evening?? I'll be in Atx and thought I'd ask :)

Looking to sell my Fast Intentions Exhaust with 18" Resonators, please PM if interested!

Pintsize725 02-02-2016 10:05 PM

Found a nice photo op spot that's new and deserted for now. New office building on 620 westbound between Parmer and Lake Creek. So far no security that I saw. Ignore the horrible quality, I was freezing and kiddo was in the car.

Nismo Fiesta is right around the corner! For those of you who still have not attended or driven the famous Twisted Sisters, I highly recommend you do it this year! The event is moving back to San Antonio for the year but that will give you easier access to the Twisted Sisters. Please take my advice and TAPE UP your ENTIRE front end if you do the cruise! The scenery and twisties are well worth the trip. Info at the link below. PicS from my attendance in 2013.

I tend to do mine myself, honestly. It's not super hard, just a bit of a project. I am no professional detailer by any means, though.
