Kiddo came down with a high fever this weekend. No C&C but we'll be at WEC next weekend.

Just wanted to throw this out there. Would you guys and gals be up to getting together in the next couple of week for a so called meet and greet. I know that there are a few of us that have never met but have communicated on the forum. Give it some thought. :tup:

It's that time again!! Come on out to Cars and Coffee Austin, this Sunday from 9 till 1 pm to see some of the coolest cars the Central Texas area has to offer!

This month's charity is ​"Friends of Austin Animal Center" which supports Austin’s no-kill community and our city shelter with outreach and programs designed to remove barriers to adoption, keep animals in adopted homes, and support the foster and volunteer network around AAC.
This month we are moving the raffle/drawing time to 11 am! Hopefully we will get to pick a winner sooner. And don't forget, please PLEASE drive in a calm, quiet manner. Ride in with your windows down if you have dark tint and put on that front license plate! We look forward to seeing everyone as we move closer to finding out who will hold the title of Car Of The Year while supporting great causes!

Just wanted to give you a weather update for Sunday's Cars & Coffee. Weather looks to be the same, with the low that morning to be 72* and the hi to be 92*. Who all is going?? :ugh2:

Sunday's C&C had another good turn out. Got to see a lot cool cars and meet some people. Next C&C will be 11/12/17. Hope to see some of you guys!!

Just picked up a new beater so will be able to make it out to C&C finally.:hello:

Excited to clean up the Z and make it out sometime later this Fall ... once the kitchen remodel is complete. I'll be in Dallas for Texas v Owho this weekend and at COTA for USGP the following weekend :tup:

Maybe we can meet up for next month's C&C. Still don't know if the Mrs. and I will be going this to F1 this year. We may be going back to Long Beach Grand Prix in April. :tup:

Where are you sitting for USGP?

Everywhere. General Admission, so we'll be in various locations Fri and Sat just to enjoy all the different angles. I think we have a parking pass for Lot N. So I expect race day we will set up chairs in front of the grandstands at Turn 1. It gets shade at the end of the day if you can snug right up against the front of the grandstands.

We'll be in the main grandstand for Saturday but GA for race day. Shoot me a text if you want to try to meet up. Will probably have the kiddo for some of that time.

Hey guys and gals. My wife and I will be out at the races on Friday. We will be at turn 15. Maybe we can finally meet up during lunch time around all the food trucks and such. :tup:

It’s already time for another show!
Sunday November 12, 2017 we will be hosting the UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS RESERVE TOYS FOR TOTS program. This month will follow along the same guidelines as every other show except not only will we accept the normal $5 donation but we will also accept a NEW and UNWRAPPED TOY as your entry fee. Or if you like donate cash and a toy! Come out and see what cool cars we have here in the central Texas area while supporting a great cause. You have just two chances left this year to qualify for the Cars and Coffee Austin Car Of The Year title so don’t let this chance to qualify pass you by. We look forward to seeing who will win the Autozone wash bucket this month. See y’all there!!

:iagree: The forecast for Sunday is 61* for the low and 76* for the high with a 30% of rain. But as you know with the weather here in Austin, that can change. It's only Monday.

As far as a place to meet up, I am a early riser and just don't sleep much, that being said, I am usually one of the first 10 cars there.

Ok guys and gals, here is a weather update for Sunday, they still have a 30% chance of rain in the forecast with the morning low 62* and the high 75*. I will keep you guys up to date on this. :tup:

As of 7:15pm the weather forecast for Sunday is 30% with morning fog and drizzle. With a chance of rain later on in the day. Hopefully next months C&C we will have better weather. Hope you all have a great Sunday.

To be honest with you, I totally forgot about it. Sorry didn't get to meet you and the family during the F1 weekend. My wife and I got to finally met James and his wife. Don't know if he asked you, but who is your favorite F1 drive. Reason I ask is because I was able to get some really go shots this year. Just found this out a short time ago and wanted to pass this on.

Bittersweet but extremely exciting news to share with you all! Concordia University Texas will be the new home of Cars and Coffee Austin for the 2018 season.
Thanks to all of the support of all of our participants over the last several years, Cars and Coffee Austin has seen tremendous growth and has outgrown our location at The Oasis. We look forward to continuing to support wonderful causes and spending time with fellow car enthusiasts, and hope to see many more joining us every second Sunday of the month.
Thank you to everyone from The Oasis family and all of the volunteers who made this event possible. We appreciate the time spent and your enthusiasm, and could not have had such an amazing event without your support. Also, thank you to Concordia University Texas for welcoming us with open arms and excitement, we hear there are several gearheads on the team so know it will be a great fit!

Sunday December 10, 2017 we will be hosting the CENTRAL TEXAS FOOD BANK program. This month will follow along the same guidelines as every other show except not only will we accept the normal $5 donation, but we will also accept canned/dry food donations as your entry donation. If you'd like, you can donate both cash and food goods!
Most commonly requested food items:
Canned chicken breast or tuna
Canned low sodium vegetables
Brown rice
Dry pinto beans
Peanut butter
Canned fruit in its own juice (no sugar added)
Non-fat dry milk powder
100% whole grain cereal
OR whichever dry/canned food items you wish to donate

Just wanted to give you guys a weather update for next Sunday's C&C. As of today the weather looks to be Great, with the morning lows in the 40s and the highs in the mid 60s. I know it's seven days away and our weather will change at least 6 times before then. :tup:

Ok, the weather for Sunday's C&C is still looking very good. As of today Sunday morning low is 41* with the high to be 65* with no chance of rain. Remember this will be the last time at the Oasis before it move to new location in January. Who all will be going? Hope to see you there!!:tup:

After yesterdays snow, Sunday's weather looks to be a little colder in the morning for C&C. As of today they are showing the low to be around 38* and the hi to be around 66* and Sunny. Make sure to take a jacket. Hope to see you there!!! :driving::tup:
