There's a Target on 2222 right before 620. It's only about 2.3 miles from there to the Oasis

Why? The Target parking lot is 1 block away from 620 on the way to the Oasis.

Because I'd have to go south to come back up northwest.

This will be the first C & C at the new location, but it should be even better than the Leander location -- certainly better roads in the area. Only drawback is that the January one might take a hit in attendance due to the cold and chance of rain.

I plan on attending rain or shine, but some people are reluctant to take their cars out in the rain or cold :)

Hi - I am brand new to this forum and a brand new Z owner. I bought my PW 370z (2010 used with 20k miles) Monday of this week, live in Austin, and already planned on going to the cars and coffee event at Oasis..

If your car isn't too dirty from the recent rain we had, you should take one of the show spots :tup: Just post in here and let people know that you plan on showing if you want one. Austin is pretty laid back and sometimes it's difficult getting people out for a meet. But Ms. Pintsize does a pretty good job of organizing things when she starts feeling like a shut-in :icon17:

Also.. jan 26th. The z clubs from Austin, SA, Houston, Corpus and the valley will be gathering to cruise the coast (corpus, port A, Rockport) we're already at over 60 cars. Sa and austin peeps are meeting at the SA coffee and rides at 1030am located at loop 1604 & blanco.

Feb 9 is another hill country cruise out to the twisted sisters. Meeting up at golds gym at 1604 & Bandera rd in SA.

I was looking for a place to dyno my car before and after CBE and HFC are installed. I found about three places online, but either the websites do not work or there is not much information. I was just curious about a) the cost b) should I expect much change and c) is it necessary to have it tuned after the exhaust is installed....

Any info is appreciated!

Uprev Austin or Cobb tuning. Not sure about gains but I'd expect any to be minimal. A tune is only needed if you have full bolt ons.

Zagg if I'm not at the meet up spot on time, I'll catch you guys there.

How late do you think? There's no need to leave the meet-up at 9:45 since the Oasis is only a few minutes from there.
