Packers got robbed. These Refs NEED to go!!!! Ray Lewis was right, they are taking away the integrity of the game. they obviously have no clue what they are doing.

Packers got robbed. These Refs NEED to go!!!! Ray Lewis was right, they are taking away the integrity of the game. they obviously have no clue what they are doing.
how is a ball NOT intercepted when the defender has BOTH hands on it AND against his body? while the reciever PUSHED a defender to the ground and got 1 hand on the ball AFTER they went to the ground?! holy F*ck. this needs to straighten up lol

ESPN had an excellent explanation of the rule for this situation. Normally if 2 eligible receivers take simultaneous possession of the ball (i.e. they both catch it at the same time) the catch goes in favor of the offense. However, if one of the receivers establish possession first and then the second receiver gets joined possession of the football, then the catch goes in the favor of the first receiver. That's exactly what happened with Jennings getting possession of the ball first.
Also, good call by McCarthy about not commenting on the refs. The league really can't say anything to him now. |

Just thinking out loud, but shouldn't the NFL have to answer to every Packers shareholder that wants to know how/why their team lost off of what is obviously a bad call? I mean, this game could have playoff implications which would impact team revenues... if i'm a shareholder I'd call the NFL to the carpet on this one.
