Another base caliper swap I did I noticed that the brake line ends are designed for the brass block creating a solid seal (Pressure Fitting). The back of the caliper wasn't the same. It is set up for the steel brake line flange. That customer had to come back twice. It was difficult to tighten down and stop a small leak. You are using the threads to seal at the connection when going directly into the caliper with a braided line. I would get the steel hard line extensions and ebay for the blocks. If its still soft after that, 100.00 Booster Swap last resort. The hard lines and blocks will fix the soft feel, proper sealing of the fittings, no air, tight feel.
